Wordly Matters

… because words matter

“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inner significance.”
-
Aristotle

Writing is my art.  Whether I’m describing the delicate flavor of a crab cake, or delving into the emotional pain of deployment, or setting up a surprise gag, I use words to promote a clear understanding of the inner significance of the subject.

This gallery has samples of some of my favorite types of writing: Humor Essays, Feature Articles, and Reviews.
